Sewing Suspicions - Mystery Quilt Class

We are hosting a mystery - This is a 3 day mystery class that will be held in the store. This is a fun event as no one knows what the quilt will look like until the end! The quilt is 4 fabrics light, medium, dark, and border fabric and the finished size before borders is 50" x 64". If you want help on picking out fabric, Jaelyn will be in the store Wednesday, Friday, and Saturday to assist with fabric selections. There is prep work which is cutting out the fabric before the event. Please see the fabric requirements and cutting instructions down below

BQ101: 101 Beginning Quilting: Summer 2026

You will be learning how to make 12 quilt blocks. Basic knowledge of your machine will provide you more time to learn 1/4" seam allowances, matching points and even an applique block as you put together your quilt top in this 5 session course, beginning Tuesday, June 2 and will meet weekly. The class will end on July 7, 2026.

Beginning Hand Applique Class

In this class, you will learn how to create prepared-edge appliqué using the starch method. During the class, you will make a sample project—a notebook cover. A kit is included in the class fee and contains appliqué flower patterns, freezer paper for templates, starch, a paintbrush, straw needles, and finishing instructions for the notebook cover. Please see the additional supplies you will need to bring to class below.
