101 Beginning Quilting

We are offering 2 sessions – a daytime and nighttime session.  The dates will be the same.

Class dates 7/25, 8/1, 8/8, 8/15 and 8/22

Daytime:  Arrive at 9:30, class starts at 10 and ends at 1:30

Nightime:  Arrive at 5:15, class starts at 5:30 and ends at 9:00

Class fee is $100, you can register online for the class or you stop by the shop at:

212 W Main Street, LaPorte, TX 77571.

Bring your sewing machine and basic sewing supplies, which include:

•        Cutting mats (recommend 24x36) 
•        Rotary cutter (recommend 45mm ergonomic)
•        Rulers:  I recommend 8.5x24 and another one of 6x12 (recommend Quilter’s Select ruler)
•        Threads, machine needles, straight pens, pincushion, seam ripper, stiletto, fabric scissors and/or thread snips
•        Paper and pen for taking notes

Note:  There will not be a meal break, but you are welcome to bring a sandwich or snack with you to class.  Your beverage should only be water and it should have a screw lid.  This is for your protection and the other students, no one wants soda on their project. 

If you need help with the fabric selection stop by the shop and we can help you.  I suggest that you pick your border fabric first and then pick your coordinating fabrics.

Note:  we are offering 10% discount on class supplies, except for Quilters Select items.
