Featherweight Maintenance Class/Spa Day

Featherweight Maintenance

Do you own a Featherweight Sewing Machine?  Do you want to sew with your precious Featherweight?  Haven’t used it in years?  Want to learn to maintain it yourself?  This is the class for you.  Featherweight Maintenance Spa Day!

In this hands-on class you will learn how to service your Featherweight sewing machine yourself.  You will develop the skill set to clean, oil, and grease the proper locations to keep your machine running in tip top shape.  You will also learn some tricks to sewing with your machine and gain confidence in using it on a regular basis, if you so desire.  You will feel empowered and ready for your next quilt or project.

We will practice your new skill set so you are comfortable enough to start piecing a quilt top or your next sewing adventure.  At the end, if time permits, we will review the accessories/feet that came with your machine as well.  This will prepare you for a Part 2 class in the future.
