Serger Basics

Join us to learn the basics of your serger. From threading 3 and 4 threads to the basic stitches and how sergers can expand your stitching skills.
We will be making a Kleneex box holder and a travel bag that uses the serger to attach a zipper.
This class will be fun and informative on expanding your knowledge of your serger, these machines have many uses that most of us are unaware of.
You will need to bring your sergers, a cording foot, 4 spools of thread and your basic sewing supplies.
Be familiar with your machine and bring the instruction manual. Glenda has used several sergers, but the manual will help if there is a problem.
We will schedule a 30 minute lunch break, but it does help if you bring your lunch. Drinks need to be in cups with lids or caps.
Our instructor is Glenda Collins. Glenda has over 35 years of serger experience and is a wonderful teacher. She looks forward to sharing her love of the sergers with you and will encourage you to get more out of your machines than you knew was possible.
