Our quilt kit contain 29, 10-inch cuts of fabric, 1 yard of fabric for the accent border and 5 yards of background/border/binding. It finishes about 76x76 and 7 yards is suggested for backing.
we have our cutting instructions included with the kit. Our kit does NOT include the pattern. Her book/pattern is required for the construction of this quilt. Primitive Gatherings suggests their ruler for cutting, but should you want our alternate cutting method, you will need the Creative Grids 45-degree Kaleidoscope ruler, which is what I used.
The fabrics are a blend of fall-like colors and features some of the Freespirit fabrics by Tim Holtz, Regions Beyond line and we added several other fabrics to compliment them.
Also, please note that our kit does include 1 yard of fabric that is substituted instead of doing the "pattern" method for the rails for the border. It's a fabulous piece by Tim Holtz and we just loved it and thought it would be perfect for this quilt.
